Gross! People should watch their kids!

This is going to be a short rant. I love kids (for the most part). Boyd and I are not to the point of having kids just yet, but it is something I think about often and I sigh whenever I see babies at the supermarket. That aside, people should really pay attention to their kids at restaurants. Boyd and I went to lunch at a Houston restaurant yesterday and I saw something that unnerved me: a child took glass bottle of ketchup (which her mother had just opened for her and handed back: great job, mom!) and after finding that the ketchup wouldn't come out after a few shakes (big surprise), STUCK HER TONGUE INSIDE THE BOTTLE OF KETCHUP AND WIGGLED IT AROUND!!!!!!!!! Her parents never even saw her do it! EWE! Now, I love ketchup, I mean ask anyone who knows me, its my favorite condiment! But I love to think my ketchup is unadulterated and germ free. The thought of some germ infested toddler (really, do you think they wash their hands that often? and have you seen the things they eat?) sticking her tongue in my ketchup really dims the love. So now I am thinking of carrying around my own ketchup! Does anyone know where I can get a big box of ketchup packets? I really would rather not engage in a theft campaign everytime I go to a fast food restaurant, just to stock up on clean ketchup. I will think twice the next time I get ketchup out of a bottle at the restaurant. I bet you will too...I'm just sayin'....

Law School Graduation

I am so excited because, today STCL announced the date of my graduation! It is so close that they can now officially put it on the calendar! Can you believe it? This last year is going to be so busy I don't know if I will have time to breathe. The good news is that the graduation is set for a week later than it usually is, which means that Boyd and I will be able to move when our lease is up, rather than having to pay the astronomically high rate of a one month lease for an extension. AWESOME! It does kind of suck that it will put a cramp in everyone's Memorial Day plans!

Oh well, the end is so close I can see the light!!!!!
